If you plan to make a group order, if you have spare VESCs or parts for sale etc. you can post that here.

imvery interested in buying one. I am ee have a lot of equipment to test if needed
I want to use vesc in ebike application max voltage 58.4 no regen (geared motor)
My current bike does 40 mph at 48v 37A I think I can do 45 mph at 52v 40 A but controller must support high rpm.
Willing to invest money to make the right controller happen

Hello rew,

do you currently have some boards for sale ? I'd like to give a used ebike a second life.

Regards

See, I should have someone else do marketing for me. Alas I'm the technical guy and have to do the marketing as well. Sorry about thiat. I somehow missed your (alkeksibus') message.

Yes, that's it. When there is an order I build a few. Like 4 or 5. IIRC, there are a few still in the ready-but-untested box. I did grab one for internal use today....

I need a board that is better in FOC mode, especially in lower speed region. My motor has 21 pole pairs, is 100kV and used with 10S batteries.

3 shunts may help, but because I need only 5-10 amps continuous per phase, I prefer to have higher value for these shunts 3 or 5 mR.

Is that possible with your board :?: :!:

Do you use a 2.18 FW or something else, it's not clear on your website :?: :!:

The motor runs at 48000 ERPM with 7S batteries unloaded, checked many times!

So I hope it'll be about the same when used with 10S and LOADED.

Rew board seems to have 3 shunts, but I don't know if he implements the firmawre to use the 3.

So I will wait rew's answer to know more about his board and firmware, hoping it'll be possible to use 0.005R shunts and analog filters before the CPU.

I have too many projects running right now. So doing double work in getting three shunts to work, while benjamin already did that seems a waste to me. I use the firmware from github with a new hardware-definition attached. I'm not that into version numbers, so I don't know if that's what's called 2.18, but I suspect it is.

So... us of the third shunt will become available when Benjamin opens up the latest firmware adjustments.

IF your motor runs at the same RPM at 7S unloaded and 10S loaded, then you're having about 30% losses in the system. Either in mosfets and wires or in the windings of the motor (or both). But where-ever the power goes, it's going to ruin your day.... So if 48k ERPM is enough for you, then 8S is probably enough too. But having 10S (but not using) won't do much harm either.

Thanks for your answers.

So I will wait till new firmware comes.

And I will use a 4.12 HW board with 2.18 modified FW to use 0.005 ohms shunts.

But I need to order the shunts before.

And to test my motor with the glued hall sensors in hybrid mode.

Have a Nice Day.
