Postby paufred64 » 10 Apr 2016, 07:09

hi
I use 2 vescs to version 2.8 with firmwar 8s lipo packs and motors 70a 6354 for e-longboard
I have a telecomande FlySky FS-GT2B 2.4GHz
I send you the settings I made (with the help of Cedric the french website esk-8.fr)
and 3 videos where we see the problem
when my radio is in neutral I am 54%
when my radio is thoroughly I'm 100%
but the engines are thoroughly from 63%
I tested with other remote it is the same

you will know how to have a longer remote trigger stroke
by modifying an adjustment

Hi,
With the "remote control" you control the CURRENT through the motor. When you send say 10% of the max motor current through the motor when it is unloaded, the motor will accelerate to the maximum speed possible with this battery, and then stay there.

To double check, connect the system to the computer, run BLDC_tool, and select the "realtime data" tab. When you don't see any reaction from the motor, the "dutycycle" will be stuck at close to 100% (more than 90%, shown as 0.9 in the legend at the right).

It is normal that it works this way.

When you have the throttle at 10%, when the motor is unloaded, that is enough to make the motor turn max speed. But when you load the motor, you will notice a difference between 10%, 20%, 30% and so on.

Compare it with a car: If you press the gas with the gears in Neutral, the motor will go very fast even with little gas-pedal.
