new vesc and my c-6354 outrunner with 295kv

Postby Chrizz » 17 Oct 2017, 11:20

Hi there,

I have 2 e-skates, problem with one board and the 295kv motor. Sometimes on accereration board stop accelerating and the drives again. Not everytime, only sometimes while moving and accelerate. No hills. 30A settings and 8s Akku. I set Low Voltage cut off to 16V for testing. FOC mod and BLDC the same problem with stopping acceleration for a short time. perhaps the high 295kv from the motor makes problem?
I heard you have a solution for high KV motors Benjamin?

best regards

Does the VESC LED flash red 3 times when acceleration stops ?
Did you try to read the faults using bldc-tools ?

Ok, I test a little more ... new setup, Longboard with new bateries.

The Acceleration short breaks problem sometimes was NOT the new great VESC. It came from my remote control from Maytech new version. I check the wires from receiver and now for the first tests it works all fine. No cut offs.
The soft start on vesc is awsome nice :-)
