At this point,I'm running 6374 3200W sensored motor, but I feel that this motor is struggling. So, I figured it would be a good idea to kick it one notch up and use 8072 sensored motor. Both motors came from your neck of the woods. They are Alien Power System motors out of UK. The 8072 is rated at 6000W.
Before I bought the Alien 8072 motor, I had bought another motor. It is the same size and the same copper mass, but is rated at 2700W. I think that most of these motors are overrated and that the other motor, made by Leopard, is close to real rating. The Leopard motor is not sensored, so I'm planning on installing hall sensors in it and change shaft diameter from 12 mm to 10 mm. I could redesign the cycloidal transmission I built to work with 12 mm shaft, but, at this point, changing the shaft will be easier.
Here is the thread of my build, if you're interested:https://endless-sphere.com/forums/viewt ... =3&t=90432
BTW: Merry Christmas to you all!
