Exporting/saving data from BLDC tool

Postby Griffen077 » 23 Jan 2017, 21:11

So I've spent most of the day looking up previous posts and messages and going through tutorial videos trying to find an answer to this, so apologies if someone has already answered this somewhere I missed. Is there a way to save or export the data logged by the BLDC tool to a text file or something? I would like to be able to go over the data during a test run when I have the motor on the benchtop, but I don't know how to log data in anything other than real time or single one-shot plots. The experiment tab in the BLDC tool looks like it has something to do with saving samples and whatnot, but I can't get anything to work with it. Any suggestions? All help is greatly appreciated.

I am in the same position, has anyone found out how to use the experiment tab? I believe I am currently running BLDC_Tool version 1.12 in use with a VESC running 2.18 firmware, and I have not found any documentation about the tab on the web nor within the terminal help command. Also I would rather have the file than using video logger to guesstimate on the experiments I am running. Thanks in advance!

If you have access to MATLAB and Simulink on a windows machine, check http://vedder.se/forums/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=333
