Change pin assignment

Postby lizardmech » 24 Jul 2016, 13:04

How do you change which MCU pins are assigned to which function in the VESC firmware? I have been using a stm32f407 discovery board but they discontinued it and it's too big. There's a few compact stm32f4xx boards I could use but they all have one or two pins the VESC uses connected to other components. I need to make a MCU section for my board as well, I was going to use the the same pin connections as the 6.0 hardware but Benjamin hasn't been posting since the 5th of July and no one seems to know where he is or what happened. If I could change the existing firmware to use the same pins as the 6.0 version it would save me the trouble of having to make two different PCBs.
