PC Software and firmware versions incompatability

Postby Pechkin » 14 Sep 2017, 16:55

Hi, I've downloaded the bldc_tool PC software and bldc_master firmware for VESC. The problem is bldc_tool works with firmware 2.17 and 2.18 but bldc_master is 2.8 now and doesn't work with bldc_tool. When will be the apropriate version of bldc_tool be available for download?

The problem is that there are so many versions of BLDC tool (Enertion, Ollin, and many others) that I can't respond you.

Where did you download the program :?: :!:

I've downloaded the BLDC tool fromhttps://github.com/vedderb/bldc-tool

What is the proper place for it?

Because there are problems now with latest VESC TOOL version, I would advice you to wait, but when the new version will come, I recommand you that one.

But It seems that Ackmaniac version works well with it's own firmware.

Have a look there, beginning of the tread: http://www.electric-skateboard.builders ... -app/12286

And you will also have Watt control :!:

Have a Nice Day.

The current version of the tool seems to be https://github.com/vedderb/vesc_tool. (This, I believe, is the new rewritten tool that also works with VESC6.)
