Hi,
It took a lot of searching but I thought I'd contribute digikey part numbers for the JST board plugs.
455-1164-ND - 4 pin female housing
455-1162-ND - 6 pin female housing
455-1161-ND - 7 pin female housing
455-1127-1-ND - female contacts
Hope that helps someone in the future.

Re: JST Part numbers
I wish there was a better getting started/howto type document. With an open hardware design there are many people selling controllers with various options, all claiming to be the official vedders unit, with each trying to justify whatever margin they're making. Just finding the proper control software pre-compiled as a binary was a bit of a chore. Why don't we have links to these things?

Well volunteered.

Re: JST Part numbers
If that is the new website, then it would make the most sense to migrate all the accounts and posts from here over to there and close this one down. Multiple locations simply distribute and dilute the source of information more. I don't recognize what software they're running over there, but the majority of forum software provides import/export scripts and phpbb is pretty common, so the task should definitely be "doable". The challenge of course is finding someone with the will and access rights to do so.

Be patient
I had the same problem 3 months ago, but it's better now.
You have to learn the evolution of the old hardware 4.xx to 4.12, and the new one 6.xx.
The most important thing is that the new VESC Tool is compatible with almost all versions of the HW.
Benjamin has done a great work.
For my application old HW 4.12 is enough, but for others, they need HW 6.
So read, read, and read, especialy in the old website and forum, and also here .
That's the best advice I can give you.

Re: JST Part numbers
Figured I might as well post here, those crimps are a PITA to do without the proper tool (would appreciate if anyone has suggestions for a cheap (i.e. sub $100) crimper that is better than needle nose pliers..), I ended up just buying pre-crimped 1' cables 455-3083-ND
