I might change to the drv8301 in the future, but I'm not sure when. I'm thinking of making a major redesign some time soon. Sounds interesting. Maybe you will make then a new thread with the changes you have planned and also other user can bring in their experiences and ideas what one could change....

This seems to happen to several people, but I haven't been able to reproduce it myself. I don't know if your grammar wasn't that bad yesterday. I am also no native english speaker, but I hope others will understand me. :roll: Thank you very much for the KiCad files. One shouldn't forget that the integrated switching mode buck converter isn't there just for external load, the top priority is to power VESC parts like the STM32. So I wouldn't put a external load of 1.5A on it. I think with 1A load you have enough "safety current" and 1A isn't that little...
