Building a VESC

I just went through creating an order from the github bom file... Just the Mouser components came to $72.19...! (matching connectors seems to be impossible, unless you just GUESS)... (even the FARNELL home web page will not match bom part numbers)... add couple buck for the connectors, then $10-20+ ...

Re: VESC4X

follow on to above... mouser has the discovery board STM32F412G-DISCO containing the STM32F412G for $25... would that be a good place to start for a VESC4X recode...? (4-5x runtime requirements over vesc standard load)... or should i go for a full blown rebuild on a raspberry pi...? (asus pi clone t...

support and discussion of hoverboard motor-wheels

I am in progress of designing a robot with 4 wheel drive (hoverboard 10" motor-wheels, 700W each)... This robot is based on a design on hackaday.io called MORPH : Modular Open Robotics Platform for Hackers... ( https://hackaday.io/project/25730-morph-modular-open-robotics-platform-for-hackers )...

Re: VESC-based board(s) for sale....

hello... i do not have near the experience this forum covers, and this topic in particular... but i am jumping in anyway... i would vote with my dollars for a "split" design, where the final drives can be packaged and cooled for the higher power levels i need... i am working on a 4 wheel d...
