AS5048 reading only half part of positions

I attached an AS5048 to my vesc with SPI, got rid of the filter, but got a problem. The positions read are 180 degrees to 360 degrees in 1 full rotation. Position control works fine above 180 and data is jitter free. Not sure why it does not read below 180. From what I can read on Vesc forums this s...

Re: Out of the box support for AS5048

Just found other people with same problem on other forum: I have the same problem with data range. Only 8192 - 16383 values are available. Does someone knows where is the problem? Their solution was But more importantly you need to set the right SPI mode, this chip uses falling clock edge, not the m...

Re: Out of the box support for AS5048

My as5048 reads position between 180 and 360 really well but not from 0-180 degrees. I tried on two vesc's but same. The data coming from AS5047 is clean. When I rotate motor by hand 1 full rotation the position ends up at exact position in BLDC tool, it just skips from 360 to 180 and then up again....

Re: CAN-BUS Forwarding

Sorry kicking up old dust. but got a question. how come COMM_FORWARD_CAN = 33? I would have thought it would be 31. When I look into commands.c the case COMM_FORWARD_CAN: comm_can_send_buffer(data[0], data + 1, len - 1, false); break; is the 31st case starting from 0. But it apparently is the 33rd. ...

Right now going diagonally through every info on VESC that can be helpfull. Weirdly on the complete of int...
